Our signature program! For new and continuing students. Take classes in the
mornings with professionals in their specific field. In the afternoon, students learn
dance-theater composition including improvisation, voice training, choreography and
storytelling. The end-of-session performance integrates all the skills learned throughout
the program. All skill levels are encouraged and challenged. Outdoor weekly field trips.
Dress to move and bring a bag lunch. PM organic snack included.

Spring Break - April 6-10 • Improv-o-Rama!
Improvisation & Physical Comedy   Session #2
Thinking on your feet is essential in theater, and kids make great improvisers! This Spring Break, we'll take out our "thinking brains" and spontaneously create theater through movement, sound, song, story and games. Physical Comedy skills will also contribute to Swivel Arts silliness. Wear loose-fitting clothes and bring a lunch.

July 27 - August 7 • From the Page to the Stage
Drama, Dance, Music & Costume   Session #3
Let's create a play! This session will focus on adapting a story for the stage and bringing it to life as only Swivel Arts can do. Through group reading and collaborative ideas, we'll adapt scenes and create our own characters, use improvisation and learn how to express a story through dance, song and text to bring a book from the page to the stage. Wear loose-fitting clothes and bring a lunch.

August 10 - August 21 • Dance Around the World
Bollywood Hip-Hop, Afro-Haitian and Contemporary   Session #4
Don't just dance…Swivel Dance! This eclectic camp session exposes campers to a variety of movement influences from India, Africa, the Caribbean and America. Campers will explore movement skills using improvisation, choreography, rhythm and timing. Learn the dance steps, language and culture of each dance and impress your friends! Includes weekly playground field trip and group performance. Wear loose-fitting clothes and bring a lunch. Organic PM snack provided.
