My Background:

As a professional actor and teacher of the performing arts for many years in the SF Bay Area, I know the challenges artists face making a living with our craft. As a coach, I have worked with adults and kids ages 4 years and up, helping my students understand and make use of individual strengths to give. My students are working actors, dancers and singers in LA and SF, public speakers, speaking in front of their class or school, and performing on stage all over the Bay Area.

FAQ:
1. What is private coaching?
Private coaching is one-on-one study with a coach. The individual experience of this teaching format allows the coach & student to focus on the unique needs of that particular student. Both long and short-term sessions are recommended, depending on the goals and challenges of the student.

2. How long are the sessions?
Typically an individual session is a full hour. Semi-privates range from one and 1/4 to 2 hours, depending on class size and age of the students.

3. Who benefits from private coaching?
Any student age 5 years and older who has a specific goal such as improving audition skills, better articulation, voiceover skills or postural awareness ,will benefit from private coaching.

  • $210/ —3 SESSIONS (SAVE $15!): work on one monologue, get voiceover exposure
  • $390/—6 SESSIONS (SAVE $60!): 6 SESSIONS (SAVE $60!): tailor your audition package, refine scene work or voiceover skills
  • $ 650/—10 SESSIONS (SAVE $100): best value for long-term, skill development, vo cd prep, etc.
Semi-private classses:
A great way to gain valuable, individual attention while benefiting from learning in a group setting. Semi-Private class limit kept at 2-4 students only. Schedule with a friend, or get matched up with another student of similar skills studying with Debórah. Semi-privates may be taken concurrently or alternately with private coaching.

Semi-private rates:
  • 2 STUDENTS/ $65 PER STUDENT, 1 1/2 HRS,
  • 3-4 STUDENTS/ $60 PER STUDENT, 2 HRS
  • UNDER AGE 7: 2 STUDENTS/ $90 PER 1 HR 15 MINS

Cancellation policy: DUE TO SPACE RENTAL AND A LIMITED SCHEDULE, CANCELLATIONS MADE BY THE STUDENT LESS THAN 24 HOURS BEFORE THE SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT WILL BE CHARGED THE FULL FEE FOR THAT SESSION.
